Software, Algorithms and Computational Methods

The LSP approach combines computation and data collection in equal measure. The development of new computational methods, algorithms and software is, therefore, a high priority for the lab. In almost all cases we release our code on GitHub under permissive open source licenses. Software methods range from machine-learning assisted visualization to methods for constructing and interrogating large-scale biological networks. Some projects yield software that is primarily useful in that specific setting whereas other projects lead to software that we continue to develop and maintain. These latter projects will typically be covered in an LSP “microsite” that is structured in a variant of the “Just the Docs” style and will include links to the code, project roadmap, bug fixes, etc.
